The work draws inspiration from the cyclical passage of time and the mythic symbolism of the dragon - an enduring figure of strength, transformation, and continuity. By breaking the image into twelve parts, the project reflects how a year is experienced in fragments, yet comes together as a larger whole. Using discarded riso paper emphasizes themes of renewal and resourcefulness, giving new life to materials that might otherwise be overlooked.
