The series consists of five artworks, each representing a different aspect of the Vietnamese gene: The brain (creative thinking), The head (self and ego), The heart (emotion and passion), The hands (action and making), and The feet (movement and journey). The artist utilises a hand-cut, layered technique as a meditative artistic process, reflecting an inward act of self-examination. Through each cut and layer, she searches for Vietnamese identity embedded within her creativity.
